Hurikán Richard je na pevnině

Hurikán Richard udeřil na středoamerické pobřeží poblíž největšího belizského města. Udeřil asi 35 kilometrů jižně od města Belize City. Rychlost jeho větrů dosahuje již 150 kilometrů za hodinu. Richard je desátým hurikánem letošní sezony v Atlantiku a Karibském moři. Meteorologové očekávají, že se přežene přes Belize a zasáhne záliv Campeche. Šestiměsíční hurikánová sezóna v Atlantiku obvykle začíná 1. června a trvá do 30. listopadu.
