Letošní prázdniny zatím mnoho letních dnů nepřineslo – v Karlových Varech bylo od 1. července 22 dnů, kdy teplota vzduchu nedosáhla 20 °C a pouze 4 letní dny. V Praze-Karlově bylo 9 dnů s teplotou vzduchu pod 20 °C, 11 letních dnů a 3 tropické. V Brně mají prozatím za sebou 9 dní s teplotou pod 20 °C, 11 letních dnů a čtyři tropické.
S nízkým počtem tropických dnů je letošní červenec s rovnatelný s rokem 2001 nebo 2002.
