Do našich hor konečně dorazila zima. Trvale sněží a za posledních čtyřiadvacet hodiny napadlo mezi 15 až 30 cm nového sněhu a během dne může napadnout dalších 15 cm. Nejvíce sněhu je v Krkonočích, stanice v Peci pod Sněžkou hlásí půl mětru sněhu! Přitom fouká čerstvý až silný západní vítr v nárazech kolem 90 km/h. Od vyšších poloh se proto mohou tvořit sněhové jazyky nebo závěje. Během odpoledne bude vítr přechodně slábnout a srážky ustávat.
