PORT-AU-PRINCE: Šest lidí bylo zabito při sesuvu půdy v chudinské čtvrti hlavního haitského města Port-au-Prince.

Oblast v posledních dnech pustošily silné deště a sesuv půdy byl jen otázkou času. V lavině bláta a kamení zemřely příslušníci dvou rodin. Mezi mrtvými je také malý chlapec. Dva roky po ničivém zemětřesení, které zabilo více než 220 000 lidí žije stále více než 310 000 lidí pod provizorními přístřešky. V oblasti každoročně zemře mnoho lidí při sesuvech půdy i hurikánech. Před přírodními živly, se nemají kde ukrýt. Jen při posledním období dešťů zemřelo 30 lidí.
