Zemětřesení o síle 6 magnitudu udeřilo blízko mexického pobřeží v Pacifiku v úterý 0:44 SELČ.

Epicentrum bylo 93 kilometrů od města Tapachula v hloubce asi 36 km. V tuto chvíli nejsou žádné zprávy o zraněných či škodách na majetku.

V posledních týdnech zažilo Mexiko několik silných zemětření. V druhé polovině března při zemětřesení o síle 7,4 magnitudu zemřely dvě osoby.
