Ve většině Středomoří se v červenci vyskytne v průměru jeden den se zvětšenou oblačností a srážkami, výjimkou je oblast s okrajovým vlivem Alp, tedy Francouzská riviére, sever Itálie, Slovinsko a Chorvatsko, kde to může být pět až osm dnů. Teplota moře se pohybuje od 20 °C u Itálie, přes 23 °C u španělského pobřeží po 24 °C ve východním Středomoří.
