O víkendu odstartoval na Apeninském poloostrově cyklistický závod Giro d´Italia. A počasí cyklistům zatím přeje. Dnes je na řadě čtvrté dějiství etapového závodu, které peloton zavede z Ligurie do Toskánska, konkrétně z Janova do Livorna. Na více než dvouset kilometrové mírně zvlněné trase podél pobřeží doprovodí závodníky slunečné počasí s příjemnými odpoledními teplotami mezi 20 až 24 st. Příznivé počasí by mělo vládnout i v dalších etapách.
