Na jihu Evropy je letní sezona v plném proudu. Převažuje jasná obloha a teploty jsou převážně tropické. Z celého evropského kontinentu je nejtepleji ve Španělsku, kde se nejvyšší odpolední teploty pohybují až na 40 °C. 40 °C hlásí Sevillla, 38 °C Madrid. Nejen nejvyšší teploty jsou tropické, ale také noci jsou tropické s teplotami kolem 23 °C. Také teplota moře je příjemná – kolem 23 °C.
